Providing the right glasses, the right way

It’s not enough for Montgomery Eye Care to offer outstanding service to its own patients. Now, Montgomery Eye Care is reaching out to those who are unsatisfied with their glasses and offering them a complimentary consultation.

There are many reasons why glasses aren’t “just right.” Fit, style, adjustment and even how to use them correctly all are important factors. Ben Fazio, Montgomery Eye Care’s New Jersey state-licensed optician, is eager to offer his expertise to those who simply aren’t happy with their current prescription glasses.

“We’re passionate about what we do here,” said Fazio, who has nearly 30 years of experience. “I know we have the tools and the expertise to help people — that’s our commitment.”

Fazio specializes in ophthalmic optics. He worked his way through college as an apprentice optician, and did his early training under a state-boarded guild optician. This offered him the chance to learn the fundamentals of ophthalmic optics in a hands-on environment. At only 22, Fazio managed an optical dispensary in Belle Meade, successfully growing the business every year of his 13-year tenure. In 1998, Dr. Mary Boname and Fazio opened Montgomery Eye Care. Their mission: to offer quality care and service with passion and excitement.

“We know we’re accomplishing our mission here every day,” Fazio added. “The longer I do this job, the more I love it. That’s from the heart. Every day I help people see better by fitting them with the right glasses. Now I want to do the same for those who are unhappy with their glasses, whether that’s because of poor fit or difficulty seeing clearly, or because they simply don’t like their glasses.”

Fazio has the experience to troubleshoot eye glass issues. Anyone interested in a complimentary consultation simply needs to call the office at 609-279-0005 for an appointment with Fazio. He prides himself on communicating with people so he can find out what’s best for them, and then taking that information and developing the best solution.

“We have extremely high standards here at Montgomery Eye Care,” Fazio noted. “That’s why our patients keep coming back. I take the time to make sure a person is a candidate for a given type of glasses, then measure, fit and adjust properly. I also spend time educating clients about their glasses, and how to use them. Because of that, our success rate with progressives and other special lenses is almost 100 percent.”

Montgomery Eye Care offers patients comprehensive eye care, plus a large variety of glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses. The office is open Monday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hours may vary near holidays, so call or check out the front door, where any changes also will be posted.
