The MidJersey Chamber of Commerce has chosen a CEO as well as a new CFO/COO. The new CEO is Thomas F. Curtin, above, who was previously the web publisher of NJBiz. Curtin replaces former Mercer County Executive Bob Prunetti, who was CEO of the MidJersey Chamber from 2010 until May, when he departed the job amid differences with the organization’s board of directors over the future of the group and his role as CEO. (U.S. 1, May 10, 2017.)
According to his LinkedIn profile, Curtin was previously vice president and publisher of the American Banker and an account representative for Moody’s, and is a 1984 graduate of Saint Francis University.
“Curtin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the chamber,” said board chair Paul Kuhl. “His professional experience, ability to communicate, and passion for our work makes him uniquely qualified to lead our chamber into the future.”
The chamber will hold a reception for the new CEO Thursday, August 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mercer County Boat House. Tickets are $35, $25 for members.
The new CFO/COO is Janell Zoratti, who was CFO of the MidJersey Chamber from 2010 until 2016.
Zoratti, a Rider graduate, started at the MidJersey Chamber 12 years ago as an administrator. She left the chamber in 2016 to become a business manager at Connoisseur Media, the company that owns 94.5 WPST.
