Certara, the global biosimulation technology-enabled drug development company, has appointed Tristen Herrstrom to the newly created position of senior vice president of human resources.
She will be based at Certara’s Carnegie Center headquarters.

Prior to joining Certara, Herrstrom’s 20-year career included posts at QualCare Alliance Networks and Inventiv Health, which is also based in Carnegie Center. She has a master’s in human resource counseling from Northeastern University.

eHealthcare Solutions, a healthcare marketing company based on Bear Tavern Road, has hired John Burke as chief revenue officer.
Burke, a 25-year publishing and advertising veteran, began his career at Reed Elsevier Publishing, and subsequently held leadership roles at Ziff-Davis Publishing, Microsoft, and Time. Most recently, Burke led the sales team at Yieldmo, a mobile advertising company funded by Google Ventures.
Burke has led sales divisions at early-stage startup digital media companies to successful acquisitions, including Quigo Technologies, acquired by AOL in 2008, and LiftDNA, acquired by OpenX in 2012.
Burke will lead both the marketing and audience development teams of EHS.
