The road to our success comprises three key components: nurturing our staff to serve our guests with the most innovative services and products; constantly improving our salon and spa environment; and, finally, to support and improve our community through philanthropy,’ says Tere Villamil, owner of La Jolie Salon and Spa at 4 Hulfish Street in Princeton. “Through our efforts with Autism Speaks, the A.I.R. foundation, and the Princeton Library we are able to make a difference in the lives of so many.”

Villamil is the third female owner of the spa, which was the first female-owned business in downtown Princeton when it opened 30 years ago.

La Jolie is very proud to have been named one of the Top 200 Salons in the nation by Salon Today Magazine for the fifth time. This could not have been possible without our dedicated team of associates whose hard work and professionalism is always on display for our guests.

“Our commitment to our guests drives us to provide only the highest level of service and quality products with the most organic and healing benefits available. Our commitment doesn’t stop there, our stylists will continue traveling abroad to bring you the latest in techniques and styles as they continue to enhance their craft,” Villamil says. “We have built our success on offering the services of stylists who remain in touch with the latest trends and techniques while respecting each guest’s individuality. We consistently use and recommend the best hair care and skin care products in the world. We believe our in-salon environment is important to attract and retain our guests. We continuously find ways to improve that environment to make it more comfortable, cleaner, and fashionable.”

The salon is open seven days a week, and to accommodate today’s busy lifestyles, evening appointments are available until 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. “At La Jolie we understand that beauty and luxury are simply a lifestyle,” says Villamil.
