Koi Spa is adding to its already impressive menu with the launch of the Beauty Addicts make-up line – just in time for bridal season.
“What I like about Beauty Addicts is it isn’t a complicated line,” said owner Gina Polevoy. “There’s a nice selection of products and it’s easy to learn to apply them for a flawless finish. It’s great for both the make-up artist and our clients.”
Koi’s make-up artists have been trained to use the line and are ready to not only give brides a special occasion make-over, but also to serve Koi’s clients, including teens.
“We have a package on the menu called Diva Delight for the Young Miss,” Polevoy explained. “It’s for teens, and includes a Phyto Flash Facial, Express Manicure and Make-Up Lesson. We also do parties.”
Adults can enjoy a professional make-up application, make-up lesson, formal make-up and related services like tweezing. Brides may choose a trial run to ensure they love their look before their big day. Brides also may rent the Bamboo Suite so the entire bridal party can receive services together in a relaxing environment.
Summer also brings an increase in special services, such as waxing, tanning and pedicures. Koi Spa has a menu of waxing options to keep patrons swimwear-ready.
“Tanning is on the increase now, and we offer Mystic Tan,” Polevoy noted. “This is a no-UV spray-on tan which is extremely realistic and natural looking. And because there’s no UV, it’s safe.”
Keeping clients looking great from head to toe is no problem for the professionals at Koi Spa. There are several pedicures from which to choose, including the Express soak, buff and polish, or the Classic, which adds exfoliation and callous filing.
“There are two luxurious spa pedicures, too,” Polevoy said. “One is a warm stone pedicure. The therapist uses warm stones to massage the feet and legs. The other is the Koi Jewel of the East that includes a moisture masque and a massage.”
One of the big industry trends is offering samplers of mini services so clients can get a taste of what they like without spending a fortune. They are shorter services that run between $20 and $50. These will start to appear on the Koi menu shortly.
“We’re also pleased to announce that due to our growth and the demand for our services, we’re looking for stylists and nail technicians. Call me at the spa for more details,” Polevoy added.
