JM Hospitality Group was founded in 1982 with the opening of the highly acclaimed Nassau Street Seafood and Produce Company in Princeton. Our mission was simple — consistently provide the best, freshest seafood and produce available, while offering exceptional personalized service. Expanding and holding true to our commitment, the Blue Point Grill was added in 1999, the Witherspoon Grill in 2006, and the Princeton Farmers Market in 2009.
At Nassau Street Seafood and Produce Company, we take immense pride in our personal relationships with the artisans who share in our commitment from watermen harvesting oysters, to fisherman hand-selecting our tunas, swordfish, halibuts, snappers, scallops, or wild salmon, to our friends on the Eastern Shore selecting our softshell crabs.
Our seafood buyer, Colin Rooney, with more than 36 years’ experience in the seafood industry, has cultivated close ties with fisheries all over the world, and we are proud to say Nassau Street Seafood continues to be the leader in providing the freshest and finest seafood to our customers.
Under the careful watch of Steve Murray, the Blue Point Grill has developed a loyal tri-state following featuring one of the largest raw bar and seafood selections in New Jersey taking “hand selected’ to a new level. The Blue Point Grill offers the freshest of simply prepared seafood in a warm and friendly environment — fish house classics to some of the most unique filets in the world. Stop by some evening and see what all the commotion is about!
Witherspoon Grill executive chef Chris Graciano works personally with ranchers and farmers to ensure that he “hand selects” only the finest cuts of beef, pork, veal, and poultry along with working with Nassau Street Seafood to provide our guests with a true dining experience.
Our wine director, Will Rodriguez, enjoys hand crafting delicious cocktails and “hand selects” each bottle that goes on the restaurant’s award-winning “Wine Spectator” list of wines. The Witherspoon Grill will always please your most important client or special friend and make for a memorable Princeton experience.
The Princeton Farmers Market was founded to create an economically and ecologically sustainable community for local farmers, producers, and residents of the Princeton community. Each of our local artisans “hand select” their best to provide the market and the community with the freshest and healthiest variety of organic vegetables, flowers, meats, poultry, cheeses, dairy, baked goods, jams, and more every Thursday on Hinds Plaza, May 18 to November 16.
“Hand selected” is a term that runs through our operations on a daily basis and we invite you to come taste the difference!
