Celebrate the wedding or special event of your dreams in the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Princeton, located on Route 1 in the Carnegie Center. Let Social Catering Manager Tracy Bendian and her entire staff assist in making your dreams come true.
In 2014 the Hyatt Regency Princeton completed a $20 million renovation. All of its public spaces, including restaurant, guest retreats, lobbies, ballrooms, and meeting spaces are bright and modern.
The Hyatt Regency hosts all styles of weddings: traditional American, South Asian, and Kosher weddings. The entire wedding, from the rehearsal dinner to ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception can all take place under one roof. “Guests do not have to move to different venues. Out of town and local guests can take the elevator home,” explains Tracy. “The hotel is minutes from Princeton Junction Train Station and conveniently located to downtown Princeton with excellent restaurants, McCarter Theater, and the Princeton University campus, which is a great place for photos.”
Often the cocktail hour takes place in the Hyatt Regency’s four-story atrium. As Tracy explains, the natural lighting gives it “an outdoor feel, without dealing with the weather.” It is a perfect setting any time of year, and an ideal location for taking pictures.
The Regency Ballroom offers a stunning ambiance for a sit-down wedding reception including a spacious dance floor for up to 600 guests. They also have a Junior Ballroom accommodating up to 150 guests. In addition to weddings, the Hyatt Regency hosts a wide variety of social gatherings including birthday parties, wedding and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, bar and bat mitzvahs, graduation parties, communions, proms, and reunions.
Tracy has more than 25 years of experience planning weddings and special events. Whether you want dramatic ice sculptures and a five-tier cake or a cool jazz quartet and simple hors d’oeuvres, she will work with you to make your event special and unique. She adds “we handle all of the details. It is their day. We want it to reflect the couple’s personalities. We strive to achieve every couple’s expectations!” The Hyatt Regency’s in-house audio-visual department will create just the right ambiance, including putting your name in lights on the dance floor.
Tracy, together with the executive chef, will design the perfect menu, including wine and champagne pairings reflecting your unique tastes. Their team of culinary experts constantly keeps up with current trends. Tracy, a certified wedding consultant, will work with you to plan the perfect package.
