Gratitude Yoga, located at 27 Witherspoon Street in downtown Princeton, is home to a vibrant and welcoming yoga community that integrates the physical practice of yoga with mindfulness meditation practices and the cultivation of compassion. In all of our classes, we seek to nurture a sense of gratitude and deepen our desire to serve and benefit others. Our yoga classes focus on developing physical strength and flexibility while cultivating self-acceptance, patience, understanding, generosity, and serenity. In addition to helping practitioners get in shape, our practice brings a sense of peace and presence that extends beyond yoga class and into our daily walk with life.

Gratitude Yoga’s mission is to foster compassionate community by linking the practice of yoga with charitable giving. Each month, most of Gratitude Yoga’s profits are donated to humanitarian organizations, including local nonprofits such as TASK (Trenton Area Soup Kitchen), the Rescue Mission of Trenton, Womanspace, Good Grief, Mercer Street Friends, The Petey Greene Program, and HomeFront, as well as global organizations like Room to Read, Wounded Warrior Project, and International Campaign for Tibet.

Our weekly class schedule includes a variety of yoga styles, including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Deep Stretching, Strength & Flexibility, Kundalini Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga for Trauma, Gentle Vinyasa, and Beginners classes. Our community also gathers for a monthly Book Club, weekly Bhagavad Gita study sessions, and an array of yoga and meditation workshops, films, and discussions. We are also excited to offer free weekly outdoor yoga classes at the Princeton Farmers’ Market (at Hinds Plaza in front of the Princeton Public Library) every Thursday morning from 9 to 10 a.m., as well as free monthly outdoor yoga classes at Morven Museum & Garden from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, July 15, August 12, September 9, and October 14.
