One of the perks of Senior Living is the chance to do exactly what you want, when you want. What better to do than enjoy a rousing game of golf with friends. Nearby Gambler Ridge, located less than 45 minutes from Princeton or Trenton, is the perfect destination.

“The real star of the show at Gambler Ridge is the layout,” says John Cereste, assistant general manager. “This thoughtful design features rolling fairways, perfectly manicured greens and strategically placed sand and water hazards. It is a good course for long-time golfers and novices, offering both a challenge for experienced players while helping newcomers relax as they learn.”

In 2015 Gambler Ridge offered a nine-hole option. “Players who like to keep track of scores for handicap purposes need not worry,” smiles Cereste. “We have a computer program that can amalgamate scores from two nine hole rounds for handicapping.”

“Our goal is to get everyone engaged in golf. We feature senior leagues on weekdays. We are very flexible when it comes to the number of players and play can be weekly, biweekly or whatever works for the group. The point is to secure regularly scheduled tee times. We even have special weekend rates for seniors, too,” says Cereste.

“We are continuously working to innovate. Our new discounts for veterans have proven very popular. It’s our way of saying thank you for their service. In addition, we are happy to let golfers have non-players ride along in carts when they play nine holes. It lets friends, spouses, or children enjoy the game and, who knows, maybe inspire them to pick up a club too.”

The friendly staff helps make start times, rent golf carts, and register you and your guests before each round of golf. An excellent selection of related merchandise is sold in the golf shop, and club repair is available on site.

“Gambler Ridge offers chipping and putting areas, and is the perfect place to improve your short game. We are also equipped with a driving range. Make time to perfect your swing and improve your golf game. Open from daylight to dark, the range and practice area are great for tuning up your game,” says Cereste.

The bar and grill is the perfect way to end your round at Gambler Ridge. Unwind with your favorite beverage from our fully stocked bar while you relax, enjoying the natural surroundings. When the golf stops, the games can continue. We have an outdoor area to play a little cornhole and quoits or stay inside and play some darts. Fun, skill, and companionship are the name of the game spelled GOLF and it is all found at Gambler Ridge.
