When people in the Greater Princeton region want to go out for a special occasion or simply to enjoy a fine meal, their thoughts often turn to the Fenwick Hospitality Group’s suite of popular restaurants: Agricola, Cargot Brasserie, and the Dinky Bar and Kitchen.
They may not always realize that the Fenwick Hospitality Group experience is also an option for special occasions like weddings, anniversaries, and baby showers. Through its catering branch, Fenwick offers full-service onsite catering inspired by its trio of restaurants.
Using high-quality, seasonal ingredients from Fenwick’s Great Road Farm just up the road, catering chef David Hatton and his team deliver hand-crafted, innovative food that calls to mind everything people love about Agricola, Cargot, and the Dinky Bar and Kitchen.
For any kind of wedding, in any kind of venue, Fenwick Catering and Events has options to suit its clients, and the expertise and experience needed to bring it all to life.
“Let’s say someone is a big fan of Agricola, they have a wedding coming up and they want it to have an Agricola kind of feel to it,” says Liz Truch, Fenwick’s wedding coordinator. “Chef David knows all the menus of all of our restaurants very well. He works with our chefs and also directly with the farm to come up with the perfect catering menu to suit our clients’ tastes.”
Fenwick has a list of venues on its website, www.fenwickcatering.com, that it can recommend to clients who are looking for the perfect place to get married. The group has also catered many weddings at various nontraditional locations or even private homes. “Not only can we bring that same experience to their wedding, we can also work with them to perfect and customize their menu, their cocktail hour — everything they need to make their day special.”
Some people who have hired Fenwick Catering for their weddings also like to have their rehearsal dinner at one of the three restaurants in the group. Right now, clients who are using Fenwick for their wedding catering can get a 10 percent discount on their rehearsal dinners.
“People love our restaurants for the creative dishes that our chefs come up with. They also like knowing that our ingredients are locally and responsibly grown,” Truch says. “We take pride in being able to help people have that kind of experience on one of the most important days of their lives.”
