Junior League of Greater Princeton is seeking grant applications for its 2013-’14 Community Grants Program. Grants are provided to help fund non-profits located in Bucks, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties who have a one-time need of goods/services for a specific program/purpose related to the welfare/empowerment of women/children, including programs focused on education, health, employment & science literacy. Three Bears Communications on Nassau Street has launched a new website and extensive calendar of programs and events for the Princeton Adult School’s 75th Anniversary. Included are the November 7 Shop & Dine event, with over 60 Princeton merchants participating, and the upcoming International Affairs conversation on Sunday, December 8, with three former U.S. Ambassadors, moderated by a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner. Hamilton Jewelers has been awarded the 2013 Family Business of the Year by the Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship at Fairleigh Dickinson University. The award was presented to Hamilton Jewelers, whose flagship store is located in the heart of downtown Princeton, during a luncheon at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston, New Jersey, on Wednesday, October 16.
