The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Educator’s Institute on Tuesday, June 23, Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25, at three locations in Mercer County.

Site visits include Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton and also Robert Wood Johnson’s Health and Wellness Center, Meadow Lakes Assisted Living, and SERV Behavioral Health System’s Ewing facility.

This annual program, sponsored by Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Verizon is designed to provide a forum for educators and the business community to interact and to discuss the skills that students will need to be successful in the modern workplace. Approximately 30 secondary-level teachers and guidance counselors from the region are invited to participate in this three-day program. They will have an opportunity to personally visit three major industries and acquire an understanding of the types of careers and skills students will need in order to meet workplace demands. This year’s Institute will explore skills in Health Care.

If you are or know of a secondary level educator or guidance counselor who would be interested in attending this year’s Institute to learn about careers in the diverse HealthCare field, please contact Deborah Kilmer, Director of Communications at 609-924-1776, ext. 104, deb@princetonchamber.org.
