Most people would be surprised to learn that the professionals at Deborah Leamann Interiors consider themselves not just interior designers but also problem solvers.

Creating a great living situation is first and foremost when a Deborah Leamann Interiors professional meets with a client. It’s much more than renovations and decorations.

“If you’re not using rooms, or if things are out of order, that’s where we come in,” said owner Deborah Leamann. “Perhaps you don’t have proper storage, or you’re just not comfortable with your surroundings. We can help.”

Leamann says she and her staff are adept at pulling disparate items together and creating a great living situation. Her firm offers a full range of services, from a simple color consultation to comprehensive renovations.

“We can work with you during an architectural review, or simply offer window treatment and furnishings assistance,” Leamann continued. “New construction, renovations, space planning, kitchen design, lighting and cabinetry, accessories – you name it, we’ve handled it.”

Leamann’s staff are very approachable. She says clients feel comfortable calling them for everything and anything related to home design. The company also has a niche working with those relocating to the greater Princeton and Bucks County areas.

“Our relocation services are stellar,” she noted. “We pride ourselves on responding quickly to the client’s needs. When people are making the transition from out of state in particular, there’s a narrow window for accomplishing what we need to do so move-in is seamless.”

Leamann works with real estate agents and secures floor plans and blueprints so she can coordinate the project’s activities and phasing. Whether it’s floor refinishing and painting, or a kitchen or bath redux, the project will be done so the client can simply walk in the door.

Deborah Leamann Interiors boasts happy clients, as well as a long list of awards that speak to the company’s expertise. In 2008, the company did the sitting room for the Junior League of Great Princeton’s Designer Showhouse on Drake’s Corner Road. That effort will be featured in “Showhouses: A Decorator’s Tour” due out this summer from Schiffer Publishing Limited.

Leamann also won a Bronze Award from the American Society of Interior Designers’ (ASID) for her 2006 Junior League of Great Princeton’s Designer Showhouse. The 2006 room also will be featured in the same book.

Deborah Leamann Interiors’ AJ Margulis, an allied member of ASID, also is being published for a private residence project she designed. The project, “White is Right,” will appear in this spring’s “Best of Interior Design.”

“And I’d be remiss if I didn’t welcome back Margaret Sproul,” Leamann said. “She’s returned after a short leave of absence. Our clients are thrilled she’s back.”

Making homes near and far comfortable, inviting and beautiful for families to enjoy is the hallmark of Deborah Leamann Interiors. With a reasonable hourly consultation fee, the DLI team is simply passionate about its work.
