William Schluter, 90, on August 6. He was a Republican lawmaker famous for crusading against unethical government. In 2017 he published a book, “Soft Corruption,” about legal but corrupt practices that are common in New Jersey. He served as a state senator and assemblyman from 1968 to 1974 and from 1987 to 2002. He sponsored laws to regulate lobbying and disclosure of campaign contributions and expenditures.
Richard Lord, 73, on August 3. He was director of quality assurance with Hoffman La Roche Medical Electronics in Cranbury. He was also instrumental in forming the Jersey Area Girls Soccer League in the 1980s.
William Ashley Morrill, 88, on July 25. He was a past president of Mathematica Policy Research, where he worked for 23 years.
Stacy Beth Cramer, 44, on July 30. She was a teacher at Stuart Country Day School in Princeton.
Gerald Paul Stoy, 78, on August 10. He retired after 30 years with the NJ Division of Taxation.
Laurence J. Schnoering Jr., 62, on August 6. For the past 15 years he worked for Nordson EFD Corporation in Robbinsville.
A. Jerome Moore, 94, on August 6. He was appointed to Mercer County Court in 1966 and to State Superior Court in 1970. Since 1987 he has been of counsel to the law firm of Schragger, Schragger and Lavine in Lawrenceville.
