Spanning six states, the accounting staff contributed its time to children’s hospitals, social service organizations, animal shelters, and soup kitchens, including many in the Princeton region.
For the sixth consecutive year, #b#NRG Energy#/b#, based at 211 Carnegie Center, will be the statewide sponsor for Check-Out Hunger, a campaign that raises funds for the New Jersey Federation of Food Banks to provide food assistance to thousands of people in need. The program operates at the checkout counters at supermarkets, where shoppers can add a donation slip for $1, $3, or $5 to their orders. The program, which runs through year’s end, will be at cashier stations in every A&P, Fairway, Food Basics, Foodtown, Genuardi’s, Kings, Pathmark, ShopRite, Superfresh, Wawa, and Wegmans in the state.
