WW Grainger, an industrial supply company, signed a lease for 101,800 square feet at 16 Applegate Drive in Robbinsville.
The single-story building totals 480,420 square feet in the Northeast Business Park. Matrix Development Group developed and owns the three-year-old building. Hilary Budny of Matrix represented the landlord in-house.

NRG Energy, based at 211 Carnegie Center, intends to buy Energy Plus Holdings LLC, a Philadelphia-based retail electricity and natural-gas provider, for $190 million in cash, the company said.
Most of Energy Plus’ customers live in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Illinois, so NRG said the acquisition allows the company to expand its reach in the northeast. Energy Plus also sells electricity in Texas and natural gas in New York and New Jersey.
The deal, which is waiting on regulatory approvals from the Justice Department and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, is expected to close in October.

Amicus Therapeutics, which develops drugs to combat genetic diseases, has signed a 73,646-square-foot at Cedar Brook 3 Corporate Center, which will be used as a laboratory and office space in beginning next March 1. The move will keep Amicus at Cedar Brook Drive for at least seven years, after its lease expires next February.
Jones Lang LaSalle brokered the transaction. The lease, worth roughly $500,000, was signed by Joseph Stern, the founder and CEO of Eastern Properties, a commercial and residential real estate company in Cranbury.
