The firm is led by Ron Averett, a 25-year business executive who once served as president and CEO of Princeton eCom, which also provided electronic payment solutions for the banking and biller markets.
Before joining Princeton eCom, Averett was a senior vice president for Chevy Chase Bank’s credit card division and for Advanta Corporation’s Gold Card portfolio. Maxeta, an IT firm that specializes in business efficiency, has opened an office on Tamarack Circle.
The company was founded in 2004 by James Brouillette, an entrepreneur and former aerodynamic design engineer at Air Products and Chemicals Inc. According to Maxeta, Brouillette worked with browser-based Internet technologies in the early 90s and started using web-based software to automate his work processes. Since then he has exclusively developed custom software programs that automate business processes.
In 2000 Brouillette co-founded Insert Key Solutions, an IT services firm. Four years later he ventured out on his own and founded Maxeta Technologies.
Brouillette, a licensed pilot and lead advisor for the Boy Scouts of America, holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida and a master’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The United Way of Greater Mercer County has named Herbert Klein III its president and CEO. Klein succeeds Craig Lafferty, who served as president of the organization from 1994 until last November, when he retired.
Klein has executive management experience in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations having held executive positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture, the Louis August Jonas Foundation, and AgilQuest. He holds a bachelor’s in economics and computer science from SUNY-Albany.

Princeton Leadership Consulting, an executive coaching firm, has left its office at Princeton Shopping Center and is now operating at 6 Riverside Drive.
The firm is run by Carol Morrison, a veteran of sales and marketing whose early experiences with the competitive dynamics of different industry sectors led her to a career change in 1984. According to her website, Morrison began working in leadership, management, team, change, career development, and organizational effectiveness and stayed in the field for 12 years.
“In 1996 I decided to launch my own consultancy, to capitalize on my business-based approach to applying leading edge theories,” she writes. “My preference in using management models and methods has always been to bring them down to earth, to filter them through my pragmatic results-oriented perspective.”
