#b#Valley Road School Building Gets a Stay#/b#

The Valley Road School Building in Princeton Township will not be renovated, but neither will it be torn down. On September 27 the Princeton Regional Board of Education rejected competing plans regarding the future of the nearly century-old school building — one to renovate the oldest part of the site and the other to tear it down to build a new home for consolidated emergency services (U.S. 1, May 18).

The school board also decided to let Corner House, a social services organization, and Princeton TV-30 to stay in the building. Princeton TV had been evicted just days prior to the September 27 meeting, but the board voted to allow it to stay through May, 2012.
