A portion of Cherry Valley Road in Princeton will be closed to through traffic for roughly 90 days as crews work to replace a bridge.

In a project that started on October 23, the road will be closed between Province Line Road and Great Road for a project that will also reconstruct the approach roadway, according to a statement from the Princeton Police Department.

The road will be fully closed during the construction. A detour will be posted along Province Line Road, Georgetown-Franklin Turnpike (Route 518), and the Great Road (Route 601).

Police anticipate the duration of construction to last 90 days, weather permitting.
