Cargot Brasserie

For nearly two years Cargot Brasserie, located in the heart of the McCarter Theater/Lewis Center cultural enclave on Princeton’s campus, has served as the go-to gathering place. Along with its sister venue, the Dinky Bar, Cargot was developed to help transform the west side of campus into a new cultural, social and dining destination. Local residents, students, theater-goers and visitors will find this area an exciting locale. The brasserie offers a setting that is designed to be vibrant, while also being familiar and relaxed.

Cargot’s motto is French-inspired food for morning, noon, and night and it serves up just the right fare at the right time. A tempting array of pastries and coffee greets weekday morning commuters at 7 a.m. with breakfast beginning at 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday brunch is always a treat from 9 to 2:30 p.m. A cafe menu is available until 5 p.m., when evening dining begins.
