Winter grinds on but the Brick Farm Market is definitely not in hibernation mode; there are events, menu specials, and an ever-changing offering of goods and produce at the store.
For starters, we have a new one-night-only Artisanal Butcher’s Dinner on the calendar for Saturday, February 15, at 7:30 p.m. This delicious six-course dinner, created by Executive Chef Chase Gerstenbacher, will feature “rose veal” from Double Brook Farm. Our skilled butcher, Karina Fengler, will be on hand to discuss how the veal is raised and the various cuts that will be served. Dinner at the community table is always a great way to get together with friends, family, and neighbors and enjoy fantastic local food in our relaxed setting. To reserve your seat, explore the menu, and get more information, visit our website and click on the icon for the Artisanal Butcher’s Dinner. Tickets are $75 (including tax + tip). As always, BYOB.
And every year, we offer a Valentine’s Dinner Catering Menu. This year, we are offering the menu for the whole Valentine’s weekend. The dinner for two caters to the “chef” who wants to entertain in style at home: no crowds, no reservations, just great food for you and your significant other. Menu options include Carrot Ginger Bisque, Beef Short Rib “Wellington,” Butterhead Lettuce salad, and dessert. The entire dinner can be made vegetarian as well. Just pick it up, reheat, or prepare per instructions, and serve. To see the menu, please visit the website and scroll down to “News & Events.” To order please call 609-466-6500.
Every day we are adding new items to our prepared food case, using local proteins and the freshest produce and grains we can find. Staples like croissants, omelettes, burgers, and pulled pork are complemented by empanadas, kale salad with winter squash, smoked brisket, and braised tofu. See what’s fresh and pick up your meal to eat in or take home today.
In addition to delicious food, the Market is host to hyper-local cold-pressed juices, infused waters, kombuchas, and teas. Experiment with new flavors or stick with your favorites: Beet-Apple-Lime, Carrot-Orange-Ginger, Go Green, or Wake Up! Stay tuned for more interesting, healthy, and delicious options as the Market continues expanding out this program. Staying healthy has never been easier.
As always, stop in anytime for our curated gourmet cheese selection, bakery items made daily in the on-premises artisanal bakery, charcuterie made in-house, a custom-order juice, barista coffee, any cut of meat you need, and a number of seasonal prepared foods, produce, and grocery items. And finally we have catering for all occasions from an intimate take-home dinner for two, to a bridal shower to a large corporate gathering or anniversary party.
