Fall at the Brick Farm Market brings a crush of activity… specifically, it’s time to order your Thanksgiving turkey! The Brick Farm Market has been working with its partner farm, Double Brook Farm in Hopewell, for three years to raise and sell heritage breed, pastured turkeys. Never given antibiotics or hormones, these turkeys are the real deal and the difference is in the taste. When you order and pick up a turkey from the market, it is fresh and oven-ready. Choose from the many sides, breads, gravy, sweets, and more to let your holiday become a stress-free culinary triumph! Contact the butcher shop to place your order and stay tuned for the Thanksgiving menu online and in the store.

Aside from all the turkey talk, the market continues to put on unique market dinners and cheese classes with a one-night only theme. The dinners and classes have become a signature offering.

The remaining two Fall Market Dinners will highlight the flavors of local produce and the meat showcasing two different cuisines. Always with a twist on the menu, the unique five-course meal and the after-hours setting make the evening one to remember! Want to see what’s coming up and explore the menus? Saturday, October 24 – A Trip to Spain. This dinner is an ode to Spanish cooking: tapas, slow-roasted pork, fish, and a traditional dessert of Crema Catalana. Our chef’s specialty! Prepare to sample more dishes than the average dinner with the lengthy tapas starter!

Saturday, November 7 – Chilean & Argentinian Feast. The market’s access to fresh and local lamb, pork, and beef is perfect for this dinner of hearty meats cooked on the grill. Served with the sauces, vegetables, and breads of the region, this dinner will drive away the chill and have you dreaming of creating a barbecue pit in your backyard.

Just want to nibble ? Try one of our Cheese Classes, led by taste du fromage, Michel Lemmerling, and hosted at the market after hours. Whether it’s cheese with champagne, blue cheeses, or cheese made with beer, you will gain knowledge and will leave having sampled several high-quality cheeses with an intimate group of like-minded cheese heads.

Friday BBQ night at the market has become a go-to end-of-week dinner for customers. Enjoy in the market before closing at 7 p.m., or bring home and serve. Smoked brisket, ribs, chops, chickens, and more are paired with freshly baked cornbread, beans, and slaw for the perfect casual Friday wind-down. Remember to BYOB!

Finally…Tuesday through Sunday the market offers a coffee and fresh juice bar, a bakery on premises, a butcher shop, prepared foods, charcuterie, a cheese counter, fresh produce, and sundries. There is something for everyone at the Brick Farm Market!

Seating is limited for the market dinner and tickets are purchased in advance so that the staff may prepare for this one-of-a-kind experience. Tickets are non-refundable two weeks or closer to the event. To purchase a seat at the table or explore the menus, please go to www.brickfarmmarket.com/events or contact marketdinners@brickfarmgroup.com. We look forward to seeing you at the market! While we do not have a liquor license, you are welcome to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy.
