Summer camp is great opportunity for your child to try new activities, make new friends and create lasting memories. Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County is proud to offer summer camp for kids ages 5 – 15 at our Spruce Street Community Center in Lawrence. Our programs are designed to enhance our campers’ self-esteem and leadership skills through structured activities and interactive themes. This summer we are offering:
Kids Camp (Ages 5 – 10). Kids Camp offer weekly themed activities and trips to tap into the curiosity and wonder of all our campers. Campers will enjoy swimming, outdoor play, arts & crafts, reading, arcade, sports and other fun activities. Each week, campers will also take a field trip to local attractions.
Summer Travel Camp (Ages 11 – 15). Summer Travel Campers participate in various fun and diverse half-day and full-day field trips to local and regional attractions throughout the week. Some of our confirmed trips include: Camden Aquarium, Dave and Busters, iPlay America, Madam Tussaud’s Wax Museum and NYC, Liberty Science Center, Lincoln Financial Field and Colonial Bowling & Laser Tag.
Summer Specialty Camp. Does your child have a love of dancing, art, gymnastics, karate, science or cooking? Why not continue supporting their passions during the summer? The Spruce Street Community Center offers a number of specialty camps for various ages throughout the summer: Dance & Gymnastics presented by The Rech Center for Performing Arts, Karate presented by KickQuest Martial Arts, STEM presented by Rutgers 4-H Cooking presented by Cafe BG; and Art presented by Artworks Trenton.
Last Blast Camp (August 21 – September 1). Each day at Last Blast Camp, campers go on a field trip, have a theme day (Carnival, Olympics, Amazing Race, etc.) or can choose between featured activities of their choice (Sports, Cooking, Science, Arcade, Computers, Art, etc.) to design their own camp experience.
