You’ve found the perfect vintage print at an antique shop for great aunt Martha and you won the eBay auction of a fabulous art poster from the 1960s for your sister. And you just found the first "portrait" your son painted of his father in kindergarten – what a great gift for your husband. But, you remind yourself, presentation is everything. Your great aunt and sister and husband will never bother to have their gifts framed and they’ll gather dust in the closet.
You can give a complete gift or artwork by having your art, photos, and memorabilia framed – with full service custom framing from Image Arts. Conveniently located in Princeton Shopping Center, Image Arts has over 4,000 frame samples for customers to peruse from a wide range of manufacturers including Larson-Juhl and Roma. Image Arts offers custom and ready-made frames and matting. If you have trouble making a decision, the staff can help narrow your selection to two or three frames that are perfect for your photograph or artwork.
Frames and shadow boxes are available in classic wood, gold leaf, metal, and acrylic, and mats can be specially-cut. They also offer conservation mats, French mats, and painted bevels and fillets. Protective glass, or glazing, comes in clear, reflection control, anti-reflection, UV protection, and acrylic. Image Arts even offers accessories for displaying art, such as pedestals and easels.
So now you can create a beautiful timeless gift for the art aficianados on your list – and preserve everything from a favorite sports jersey to your child’s artwork.

Landau’s of Princeton
You never forget your first sport jacket. Ask anyone who owns a Harris tweed, and they’ll probably say they’ve had it for years – and that it’s their favorite classic sport jacket.
Landau’s – which has been offering Princeton superb quality, natural fiber sweaters, jackets, and coats for men, women, and children from around the world for 50 years – is offering a very special sale on Harris tweed jackets this holiday season. Harris tweed, woven in the Hebrides, traditionally has been a very strong fabric. But now it’s lighter, softer, kinder, and more stylish – yet still incredibly strong.
Landau’s is offering new colors and new patterns, including herringbones and plaids as well as tweeds made of this classic cloth. These new colors of the land have been handwoven into the fabric, which reflects the spirit of the Scottish weavers.
The traditional quality is guaranteed by the presence of the Harris tweed "orb mark" on every piece of cloth and jacket. Every bolt of fabric is registered for quality control.
Regularly $375, these jackets are now $299 and come in men’s sizes 38 to 48 regular and 42 to 48 long. Buy a jacket today – pass it on to your children in 2025.
Another wonderful gift idea from Landau’s are the Viyella shirts, above, originally selling for $115, now on sale for $65. Viyella is the granddaddy of all shirt fabrics, a blend of 80% long staple cotton and 20% merino wool. A little bit warmer than a traditional flannel shirt, and a lot more durable.
Woven in England originally for royalty, Viyella today is enjoyed by kings – and common people! The perfect combination of luxury and practicality (machine wash and dry), these shirts are soft, cozy, light, and supremely comfortable. Choose from 20 different, gorgeous plaids, tartans, and checks. Available in men’s sizes medium, large, XL, and XXL.

Full Circle Family Massage: the gift of relaxation
Sometimes the best gifts come not in boxes but in envelopes-gift certificates for relaxing, rejuvenating massage and healing bodywork. "Helping people heal through stress reduction and pain management is what we do," says Darby Line, owner of Full Circle Family Massage Center. "We work on the skin and muscles, but our work goes much deeper."
The gift of relaxation can be far more significant – and enjoyable – than the stuff that comes in boxes. A gift certificate for a massage, reflexology, shiatsu or a facial – 30 to 60 minutes away from the stress and pressure of everyday life – is a delight for anyone, male, female, young or old. Full Circle welcomes clients from children to seniors, and treats everyone from professional athletes to people with severe illnesses. "The body work we do is tailored to everyone," says Line. "We have 15 highly-experienced therapists who do everything from total relaxation to injury rehabilitation massage. This personalized attention and high-quality body work is what has drawn long-term clientele to Full Circle." Many clients have been with Full Circle since it opened nine years ago.
Full Circle’s gift certificates range from $45 for a 30-minute massage to $260 for the 3-hour Signature Package. Undecided purchasers can also get certificates for any amount. "You can let the receiver decide what services they want," Line says.
