The Roxey Ballet Company has auditions for the "Carnival of the
Animals" on Saturday, February 21, at the Canal Studios located at 243
North Union Street in Lambertville. There is a $16 audition fee and a
participation fee of $85 per selected dancer. For additional

Call for Entries
Mercer County Artists 2000 exhibition jurying will take place on
Saturday, February 28, at the Gallery, Mercer County Community
College, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor. The annual, juried show
is open to any artist over 18 years of age who lives, works, or
studies in Mercer County. All media are eligible except photography.
This is an on-site, live jurying process. Artists drop off one or two
pieces of art between 9:30 a.m. and noon. Any work not selected is
picked up between 3:30 and 5 p.m. the same day.
This year’s juror is Margaret O’Reilly, assistant fine arts curator at
the New Jersey State Museum. Cash awards include the Mercer County
Purchase Awards and the second annual West Windsor Arts Council Prize.

The Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition in New Hope has applications for the
2004-2005 juried exhibition open to sculptors working in any media
suitable for outdoor exhibition. Deadline for applications is
Saturday, February 28. Works will be on exhibit for approximately 11
months and accepted artists will be paid a stipend. All works must be

Phillips’ Mill Community Association seeks entries for their 12th
Annual PMPE Photograph Show to be held opening Saturday, May 15.
Deadlines: juried entries must be received by Wednesday, March 10;
hand-delivered entries should be presented Friday, March 12; entries
from slides or work prints, Friday, April 30; portfolio entries,

The Professional Writers Alliance of Mercer County invites high-school
journalists throughout New Jersey and Bucks County, Pennsylvania to
submit their published articles to their Sixth Annual High School
Journalism Contest. Entries should be submitted by mail and postmarked
no later than Thursday, April 1. Winners will be honored at a gala
reception on Saturday, May 8, at the Ellarslie Museum in Trenton.
Winners will receive cash awards ranging from $100 to $25.

their second annual prom dress drive, co-sponsored with YWCA Princeton
and Tender Hearts of Hamilton, an organization for needy and disabled
