The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has given $100,000 to support the homelessness prevention and workforce development initiatives of the Crisis Ministry of Princeton and Trenton. A portion of the grant will increase, by $40,000, the resources available to families threatened with the shut-off of vital utilities such as water, electricity, and gas. The grant also provides for increased staffing to improve the effectiveness of the organization’s service to low-income clients.

Educational Testing Service recently awarded $100,000 in scholarships to 34 high school students in New Jersey. The money came from employee contributions to the 2010 employee giving campaign.
