Lace Silhouettes Lingerie: What Real Women Want

Karen Thompson, founder of Lace Silhouettes Lingerie, believes that every woman should be able to find the "perfect" bra. You know you've found the "perfect" bra when you rip off the tags and wear it home that same day! In order to find the perfect bra for your body, a bra fitting is necessary, and surprisingly easy! Did you know that 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra? The average woman's bra size changes approximately six times during her lifetime. For that reason, bra fittings should be done every 6 months to one year with a qualified fit specialist.

Karen Thompson opened her first store in 1988, knowing that she wanted to create something unique: real lingerie for real women. Her purpose was to create a shopping experience that would focus on the customer, our "guest," and their individual needs. The mission of the staff at Lace Silhouettes Lingerie is making women feel comfortable and happy with their undergarments and themselves! Since then Thompson has expanded her company to six stores: three intimate apparel stores and three clothing stores.

When you walk into Lace Silhouettes Lingerie you will notice the large selection of foundations, but unlike other generic retailers, we offer a boutique atmosphere with attentive and caring customer service. "One guest at a time" is the philosophy that helps ensure that each person that shops here is treated as an individual and given the utmost attention!

Another factor that sets Lace Silhouettes Lingerie apart from other stores is that the sales associates at the store are also the buyers. The bra fit specialist that is fitting you for a bra will keep your comments and suggestions in mind when she goes into New York on buying trips.

Thompson is passionate about what she does and has made it her quest to find out what REAL women want. She has created a survey to discover real women's thoughts and desires, and hopes to reach out to 5,000+ women around the world. The collected information will then be used to work with our designers and manufacturers to create products that cater to our guests, everyday women.

Thompson also gives back to the community and has helped support over 25 local charities annually. Thompson's commitment to helping her community has named the company "Best in Community Support in the USA" by Intima Magazine.
