The National Conference for Community and Justice-New Jersey, an interfaith human relations organization against bias, bigotry, and racism that was founded as the National Conference of Christians and Jews, has again changed its name.
The agency, which has a regional office in New Brunswick, is now known as the American Conference on Diversity. The name change is intended to better reflect the mission of the organization and more effectively concentrate its resources where its funding is raised, in New Jersey.
