Magyar Bank and Good Time Oldies 1450 WCTC are co-sponsoring a toy drive to benefit Children’s Specialized Hospital, the largest pediatric rehabilitation system in the country. Bring your unwrapped, unused gift Magyar Bank, 3050 Route 27 in Kendall Park, or to WCTC offices in Somerset before December 19.

JFK Communications, a healthcare public relations agency based on Independence Way, raised more than $10,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The 40-member team friends exceeded its initial goal of $3,000 when it received a $5,000 donation from the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation, a New Brunswick-based philanthropy that supports healthcare, the arts, and children’s welfare.
