What's New in Princeton & Central New Jersey?
Reprinted from the November 19, 2008, issue of U.S. 1 Newspaper
A Letter from the Chairman

As the Holiday Season approaches I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Chamber Members, Board of Directors, Volunteers, Staff and Sustaining Sponsors for their support during the past year. Because of your dedication, commitment and enthusiasm, the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce continues to be one of the premiere business organizations in Central New Jersey.

We invite you to join us at the 2008 Business Leadership Awards Gala on Wednesday, December 3, as we celebrate our accomplishments of the past year and anticipate our goals for 2009.

On this special evening we are pleased to honor three outstanding Business Leaders: Janet Vergis, President of Janssen, McNeil Pediatrics & Ortho-McNeil Neurologics, Divisions of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Jack Morrison, President, JM Group and Kurt Landgraf, President and CEO, ETS.

Looking forward to 2009, we hope you will join us for a prosperous New Year and mark your calendar for the following exciting Chamber events: Mercer County Economic Summit, Thursday, March 12; the Albert Einstein Memorial Lecture on Thursday, April 23; and our Annual Golf and Tennis Outing which will take place on Monday, June 8.

We are honored to have Eric Maskin, Albert O. Hirschman Professor of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study and Nobel Memorial Prize winner in Economic Sciences, join us at our first Monthly Membership Luncheon of the New Year on Thursday, January 8, at the Marriott Princeton Hotel and Conference Center.

Each Member shares in the strength of our Chamber and in return, it is vitally important for the Chamber to continue to provide the highest standards of service and value to our members. The Chamber promises to do just that in the next year by serving as a catalyst for a strong business environment. Your Chamber is your platform to do business in this volatile economic environment, so be sure to take advantage of the many opportunities that the Chamber offers.

On behalf of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, I thank you for your continued support over the past year and wish you a Safe and Joyous Holiday Season and a Prosperous and Healthy New Year!
