Yonkers Industries, a North Carolina-based construction management firm, has left its offices Village Boulevard. A company spokeswoman said the firm has dropped operations in New Jersey.
Name Change

Capital One Financial Corporation acquired New York-headquartered North Fork Bancorp in March in a $14.6 billion deal. As a result, all North Fork Bank branches, including the ones at South Brunswick Square in Monmouth Junction and at 319 Route 130 North in East Windsor, are now Capital One Banks.
The acquisition is intended to give the credit card giant better footing in its move to become a major retail banking company. North Fork, which held $36.6 billion in deposits across 355 branches in the Northeast, was the third-largest bank in the region. The combined company now 50 million customers and 655 branches.
Developer Named
For Trenton Tract
J.G. Petrucci Co. of Asbury Park has been chosen by the City of Trenton as redeveloper for a seven-acre industrial tract along this city’s northeastern border with Lawrence Township. Known as the Enterprise Avenue Redevelopment Area, the site consists of former industrial facilities once operated by Carter Wallace and Federated Metals.
J.P. Petrucci plans to put up two 54,000-square-foot light industrial buildings designed for from two to four tenants. A public greenway is also part of the plan, which calls for a variety of green and sustainable design elements.
The site comes with a number of incentives, including low-interest state loans and grants, sales and use tax exemptions, and tax credits tied to job creation.
The former structures at Carter Wallace have been demolished, permits for work have been obtained, and environmental investigation work has been conducted.
Trenton plans to construct and maintain a greenway along Assunpink Creek, which will serve as a buffer between recreational space and the light industrial activities.
Deaths
Nancy “Ann” McLean Heckel, 59. She was the founder of Ann Heckel and Co., a medical publishing and meeting planning company on Wall Street in Montgomery. She was also a sculptor, photographer, and mixed media artist.
Lloyd E. Willis Jr., 67, on May 10. A resident of the Island section of Trenton, he was a real estate agent with Weichert’s Princeton Junction office.
Erik I. Rockstrom, on May 5. Along with a Princeton University professor, he created charged injection technology for fuel cells, and later launched a food dying company.
Elizabeth “Libby” Davis Shanefield, 69, on May 2. She trained ESOL teachers at the Princeton-in-Asia program.
