Leases Signed

Larken Associates has signed two leases at Branchburg Commons and Montgomery Commons.

Dr. Margaret Andrin has signed a 10-year lease for a 4,708 square feet at Branchburg, the 15-building, 116,500-square-foot campus in Branchburg Township, according to Larken’s Victor Kelly, who handled the transaction.

Terms of the deal were not released, but the medical office submarket here has asking rates of roughly $28 per square foot, according to Cushman & Wakefield.

Princeton Center for Leadership Training, a non-profit organization that conducts education leadership programs, has reserved 2,841 square feet for a training center at Montgomery Commons.

The park has nine building and 59,319-square feet of medical and office space on Route 206. Larken’s Robert Marek served as broker for the signing.

Asking rates here are $34 per square foot, according to Cushman & Wakefield.

Mergers

RadPharm, a medical imaging and clinical trials firm, has merged with Medifacts International, a cardiovascular safety laboratory, to become CoreLab Partners, to be headquartered at Overlook Center.

The two companies, now make a 400-employee firm worldwide, one of the largest independent labs in the world. Together they serve the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and contract research industries. Terms of the merger were not released

Michael Woehler, president of CoreLabs, said that as drug development companies and CROs continue to outsource, the combined strength of RadPharm and Medifacts should offer more stability and faster results.

Woodard & Curran, an environmental engineering and consulting firm, has opened an office in East Windsor, its seventh along the Atlantic. The firm also has offices in six Northeast states and Georgia.
